(I have unfortunaly been in central Queensland for work for the last 2 weeks so i feel like i have fallen behind)
We were asked to view the blinkenlights telnet program(towel.blinkenlights.nl) for task 2. I catagorised it as ASCII art but have had little to do with it myself. ASCII is the creation of imagery using only text items no graphics.

It looks like you have made a good start. I think we all felt a little overwhelmed at first, but you will get the hang of it. Keep plugging along.
